Experience and education
Richard provides clients with comprehensive wealth management services to help them achieve their goals as well as integrated planning and strategies to help them grow and protect their wealth.
Prior to joining Mariner, Richard was a senior client advisor, responsible for financial planning advice, communicating investment strategies from portfolio managers, reviewing portfolios and recommending strategies for accomplishing financial goals. Before that, he was a principal investment portfolio manager and investment committee member responsible for mutual fund, ETF and bond selection in client portfolios, top-down macro strategy and communications.
Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master’s degree in taxation from Florida International University.
Personal interests
Away from the office, Richard enjoys kayaking, fly fishing, organic vegetable farming, pickleball, hiking, backpacking and volunteering with Meals on Wheels.
