Experience and Education

Dana provides comprehensive financial advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and their families to help them reach their goals. With more than 25 years in the financial planning and investment management industry, his experience includes financial and estate planning, income tax compliance, cash flow management and contingency planning.

Prior to becoming director and senior wealth advisor for Mariner, Dana was a shareholder and principal of Patriot Wealth Management, Inc. Prior to that, Dana held the position of vice president and trust officer at Kanaly Trust Company. Before joining Kanaly in 1998, he was a financial advisor with FCA Corp. Dana began his financial planning and investment career with PriceWaterhouse.

He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas and a Juris Doctorate degree and LL.M. in taxation from the University of Houston.
