Dan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Experience and Education

Dan is responsible for conducting due diligence, providing manager recommendations and focusing on specific areas of coverage to provide asset class and category guidance to support Mariner advisors. He also monitors recommended managers and strategies, sources new ideas and provides investment recommendations.

Prior to joining Mariner, Dan was a senior research analyst at AndCo Consulting. Before that, he was senior director fixed income manager at Willis Towers Watson, where he led a fixed income manager research team. Prior to that, he held the senior trader position at Members United Credit Union, where he focused on the execution for investment grade fixed income.

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a focus in accountancy from Northern Illinois University. He also holds an MBA in analytical finance, finance, economics and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Dan enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and rooting for the Chicago Bears.
