Susan Schwarz
Experience and Education
Susan enjoys being a part of her clients’ financial decision-making process and create financial plans designed to enhance and protect their wealth.
Prior to joining Mariner Wealth Advisors, she worked for Transamerica Financial Advisors and Cascadia Wealth Management. Many of her clients were small-business owners, and she decided to become a financial planner and advisor. Susan began her career as a human resource manager working in both small business and academic settings. She developed an executive coaching practice in 2001.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies and master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.
Personal Interests
Susan actively supports Habitat for Humanity, Dress for Success and the Oregon Humane Society. She is also on the board as president and program team leader for Portlandia, a long-standing women’s organization in Portland. She welcomes people from all over the world by using her home as an Airbnb. She and her family enjoy travel, music and sports.
