Omar is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.

Experience and Education

Omar helps prepare and review client tax returns and assists with tax planning and projections based on clients’ needs.

Prior to joining Mariner, Omar was a senior tax associate for The Mather Group and Mowery & Schoenfeld. He was responsible for tax compliance, including tax preparation for high-net-worth individuals and entities such as partnerships, corporations and trusts.

Omar holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in accounting science from Northern Illinois University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Omar enjoys soccer, snowboarding and hiking. He’s also a fan of the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning and Chicago Cubs.
