Experience and Education

Dana provides customized wealth management solutions to help meet clients’ needs and goals. She works with clients to develop financial plans, asset allocations and insurance reviews and also helps manage their day-to-day needs.

Prior to joining Mariner, Dana served as a financial planning associate at a local RIA firm, where she worked with advisors to provide wealth management services to corporate executives and high-net-worth individuals.

Dana has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural consumer economics with a concentration in financial planning from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana. In 2017 and 2018, she served as organizational director for the Financial Planning Association (FPA) National NexGen Leadership Board, and she currently serves as director of NexGen for the FPA of Illinois.

Personal Interests

For fun, Dana enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. She has been to 22 countries and tries to visit at least one new country every year. In 2019, she went to Iceland, Thailand and Vietnam.
