Mariner Wealth Advisors Sees Continued Growth, Eyes US Expansion

July 10, 2017

Overland Park, Kan. – July 10, 2017 – Mariner Wealth Advisors, the expanding national wealth advisory firm, is seeking wealth management firms and advisors to join its family of partner firms on the heels of its continued growth, success and recognition of Mariner as the top independent advisory firm1 in the country by Barron’s.

With partner firms throughout 17 cities across the US, over $14.7 billion in assets under advisement (as of 5/31/17) and clients in 48 states, Mariner Wealth Advisors seeks to expand into the Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Detroit suburbs by collaborating with like-minded and culturally aligned professionals. Mariner Wealth Advisors’ current partner firms, on average, have grown approximately 50 percent in assets under advisement within just a few years of joining the Mariner family.

Part of what attracts wealth advisors and wealth management firms to join Mariner Wealth Advisors is the client-first mantra president and chief executive officer Marty Bicknell adopted and fostered since inception. As a result, it is critical that potential partners have the same client-centric cultural mindset prior to joining the Mariner family.

Partner firms retain day-to-day oversight of their business, but gain access to Mariner’s experience through its national leadership team and broader base of senior advisors. Mariner also provides services such as IT, legal and compliance, operations and marketing support, allowing advisors to focus their resources and time on growing and retaining their business, thereby driving their entrepreneurial spirit.

Said Bicknell, “We’re proud of our continued yet measured growth and are seeing strong opportunities to partner with more firms to extend our offering to more individuals, families and businesses. We look forward to helping new partners grow their practices through the real benefits our proven platform has to offer.”
