Experience and Education

Clayton supports a wealth advisory team that provides clients with personalized wealth management services to help them meet their goals.

Prior to joining Mariner, Clayton was a financial planning assistant at Mooney Lyons. Among his responsibilities were preparing for client meetings, analyzing clients’ financial plans using advanced planning software and helping his partner advisor uncover and address potential deficiencies in those plans. He also maintained client information and prepared client tax returns.

Clayton holds a bachelor’s degree in human environmental sciences with an emphasis in personal financial planning from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Personal Interests

Away form the office, Clayton enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, bike riding, swimming, painting, playing piano and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
