As a senior wealth consultant, Julie uses her more than 25 years of experience to focus on building relationships and connecting prospective clients with advisory teams.

Julie began her career as a commercial oil and gas lender with Bank of Oklahoma and served in various roles in her nine years there. She was director of investor relations for Vintage Petroleum in Tulsa before she provided investment management, wealth advisory and banking services for JP Morgan. Before joining Mariner Wealth Advisors, Julie was a senior vice president in commercial lending at F&M Bank.

Julie is a Certified Public Accountant and served as a full-time accounting and finance professor at Oral Roberts University. In 2018, she was awarded the Women in Business Champion by the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Julie is secretary for the Tulsa Ballet and is the chair of the investment committee. As an elected director, she serves on the finance, governance and audit committees of the Tulsa Ballet. Julie is an executive advisory board member for the University of Tulsa’s Collins College of Business. She is a past board chair for The Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma and led the capital campaign for their new leadership center. Julie currently serves as the chair of the board development committee. She is a trustee for The Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust and is chair of the finance committee. Julie has volunteered for and has supported the Tulsa Area United Way, Rebuilding Tulsa, as well as Holy Family Cathedral, Jenks and Tulsa Public Schools.

Julie has a bachelor’s degree in advertising/public relations and journalism and a master’s of business administration, both from the University of Tulsa. She passed the Series 7 and 66 exams.
