Experience and Education

Stephen provides customized wealth management solutions to clients to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. He began his career in wealth management in 2001, and has a broad range of experience in banking, insurance, investments and advisory services. He is passionate and dedicated to helping his clients navigate through a variety of key financial challenges by taking a comprehensive approach to planning. Prior to joining Mariner Wealth Advisors, he worked at Mercer Advisors and TIAA in various advisory capacities.

He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Irvine and a master’s degree in business administration from USC Marshall School of Business.

Personal Interests

He is a 7-time World Champion and 2-time National Champion in BMX (bicycle motocross) racing. His favorite sports teams to root for include the Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Rams and USC Trojans.

Stephen lives in Orange County and has been a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since 2008.
