She is a certified specialist in estate planning, trust & probate law through the Ohio State Bar Association and is an Accredited Estate Planner.
Experience and Education
Stacy works with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, foundations and individuals experiencing a life change, such as divorce or death of a spouse. She brings 20 years of experience as an attorney and provides advice to individuals and families in estate and financial planning, multi-generational wealth planning, as well as preservation, business succession planning and development of family philanthropy and gifting strategies.
Prior to joining Mariner Wealth Advisors, Stacy served as managing director with Oxford Financial Group LLC, where she worked with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, advising them on all aspects of their wealth and family plans. She also previously served as director of planned giving for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where she worked to develop and implement estate and charitable gifting strategies. Prior to working at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Stacy was a member of the law firm of Frost Brown Todd LLC, working in the personal planning and family business practice group.
She has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Dayton School of Law, graduating summa cum laude. She has a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University, magna cum laude, and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. Stacy is a graduate of the Cincinnati Chamber’s WE Lead program and the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers program (Class XII).
Stacy also serves on the Planned Giving Committee of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She is a member of and past president of the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council, member of the Board of Trustees of the Cincinnati Bar Association, member of the Board of Trustees for the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, member of the Warren County Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association and Northern Kentucky Estate Planning Council.
