Mike is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and holds life, health and annuity insurance licenses in California.

Experience and Education

Mike has 20 years of experience delivering comprehensive financial advisory services to individuals, families and small-business owners. Services include multi-scenario financial planning and analysis, custom investment portfolios, tax minimization strategies, concentrated position management, stock options planning and real estate strategies.

Prior to joining Mariner, Mike worked as a private client group financial consultant and branch office supervisor at Fidelity Investments, working in both the downtown San Francisco and San Diego offices.

Mike has a bachelor’s degree in business from San Francisco State University and a professional certificate in personal financial planning from University of California, Los Angeles. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Personal Interests

Mike and his wife Cheryl own an Orthodontics practice in San Diego. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, running and spending time at the beach with his daughter Isla.
