Designations and Licenses

Evan holds the Charted Financial Analyst® designation and has a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.

Experience and Education

Evan is responsible for strategic vision, merger and acquisition integration planning and support, investment process and client deliverable creation. He works with other division leaders within Mariner to ensure coordination and fulfillment of initiatives that cross multiple functional groups. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing the workflow of the research group by managing various directors and team leads.

Prior to joining Mariner, Evan was senior associate at Mercer Investment Consulting, where he researched both US and International equity and fixed income strategies. At various times, he held the titles of US head of core equity and global head of convertible and municipal bonds. Prior to that, he was senior investment analyst at Prudential Retirement. While there, he covered various areas of the equity landscape across all capitalizations and styles. He also established proprietary sub-advisory relationships to seed portfolios utilized on Prudential’s manager-of-manager platform.

Evan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA in finance from the University of Connecticut.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Evan enjoys playing golf and played Division 1 golf for the University of Rhode Island. He also enjoys playing ice hockey, strategy board games, reading, darts and spending time with his two children, Hunter and Hadley. He is a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, Denver Broncos and the University of Connecticut Huskies.
