Experience and Education
Alma provides individuals and families with comprehensive wealth management to help grow, protect and transition their wealth. She works closely with clients then creates an integrated wealth plan to help them meet their goals.
Prior to joining Mariner Wealth Advisors, Alma worked for Wells Fargo & Co for nine years in a variety of roles in consumer lending, commercial banking and most recently as a financial advisor for the Private Client Group. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Alma worked for three years in Albania as an economic development specialist in a dual project of the local government and the European Union, focused on helping small- and medium-sized businesses with strategic initiatives, international growth and navigating the complex city tax regulations.
Alma has a bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies from Loyola University of Chicago. She also has a master’s degree in accounting and financial management from Keller Graduate School of Management, where she graduated with distinction.
Personal Interests
Alma moved with her family to the Chicagoland area from central Albania when she was 17-years-old. She speaks five languages and is passionate about learning. Alma does amateur improv and hikes. She is involved with the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago and the National Association of Women Business Owners. Both Alma and her son Elio volunteer at Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit organization.
