Jenika Cook, CPA, CFP®

Jenika Cook is a senior wealth advisor at Mariner Wealth Advisors, LLC. She provides total wealth management services to some of the largest high-net-worth families in the Midwest. She advises entrepreneurs, business owners, and families on various financial issues, including estate planning, business succession planning, private equity investment, tax consulting and compliance, and wealth transfer. She also provides planning assistance for individual retirement planning, recordkeeping for individuals and closely held businesses, and she educates and mentors successor family business owners. Prior to joining Mariner, Jenika had three years of public accounting experience at Deloitte.
Jenika holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from Kansas State University. She is a CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a Certified Financial Planning Practitioner.
Jenika is the former president of the local chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants and is a member of the Kansas City Women’s Foundation’s 360° of Giving. She is also a member and player in the Heart of the America Volleyball, Mid-America Region and has volunteered for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, the Southmoore Gardens Neighborhood Action Committee and KCPT. She is a part of the 2010-2011 Kansas City Tomorrow program.
