Alana Scott is a wealth advisor for Mariner Wealth Advisors. She has more than 18 years of experience in the investment industry, and most of her tenure has been spent working with Registered Investment Advisors. Alana provides wealth management solutions to clients using the fundamental concepts of financial planning. She believes that fiscal health and well-being begins and ends with a solid financial plan and that this plan should be the blueprint to help achieve one’s goals and objectives.
Prior to joining the firm, Alana was director of The O’Renick Companies, a Kansas City-based Registered Investment Advisor that provides services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, corporations and qualified retirement plans. Her responsibilities included maintaining quality control for the department and providing oversight in the areas of client service, investments, operations, client reporting and regulatory compliance.
Alana has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and a master’s of business administration from Georgia State University. She is a registered CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, completing her studies at the UMKC Bloch School of Financial Planning and she is a member of the Financial Planner’s Association of Kansas City.
