September 2009 - Mariner CEO Named 12^th Best Independent Advisor in America by Barron's

Award is firm's second recognition by the renowned financial publication this year

LEAWOOD, Kan. – Sept. 01, 2009 – Mariner Wealth Advisors, LLC has announced that its CEO, Martin Bicknell, has been named the 12^th top independent investment advisor in America for 2009 by Barron’s magazine, the Dow Jones Business and Financial Weekly.

Barron’s ranks investment professionals on a number of factors, including assets under management, client satisfaction, regulatory record, and the overall quality of the practice. Bicknell said that “it is a testament to the caliber of professionals at Mariner that we were able to achieve this exceptional recognition in such a short period of time.” Although the majority of financial specialists at Mariner have extensive backgrounds, the firm itself just opened its doors in 2006.
