Katie Dunn Fitzgerald is a senior wealth consultant at Mariner Wealth Advisors who focuses on new business development. She works primarily with business owners and senior-level executives, helping them formulate and implement financial plans. She also works with non-profits, foundations and institutions. Prior to joining Mariner, Katie was an account vice president at UBS, where she earned the Pacesetter level of recognition, which is reserved for the top 5% of financial advisors based on level of service.

Katie has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University. She is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, has passed the Series 7 and 63 exams and holds a Health and Life Insurance license.

Katie was most recently recognized in the 2011 class of Ingram’s "40 Under Forty." She is an alumnae of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions Leadership Group, is part of the United Way Tocqueville Society, and she serves on the steering committee of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council. She serves as a board member of St. Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center and Starlight Theater. Katie also volunteers on the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association Go Red For Women Annual Luncheon, the Children’s Mercy Hospital Board of Advocates and Planned Giving Council, the Ronald McDonald House Red Shoe Shindig Sponsorship Committee, the Catholic Charities Patrons Committee (she is a founding member of the Young Patrons Committee), Impact KC , BOTAR and the Mariner Foundation. In 2011, she chaired Union Station’s “Diana: A Celebration” Grand Opening Reception.
