Jana is a Certified Public Accountant and has Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Accredited Estate Planner® designations.

Experience and Education

Jana has more than 30 years of experience providing customized financial and advisory services. Her focus is on individuals and their families, trusts and foundations. Previously, she was co-founder and CEO of Adams Hall Wealth Advisors, which was acquired by Mariner Wealth Advisors in 2012. Jana began her career at an international accounting firm. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting from the University of Tulsa.

Jana was named to Forbes’ Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State for Oklahoma, ranking #1 in 2024, 2023 and 2022, #10 in 2021 and #16 in 2020. She was named to the Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list, ranking #5 in Oklahoma in 2023, #6 in Oklahoma in 2022 and #10 in Oklahoma in 2021. In addition, she was named to Barron’s Top 100 Women Advisors list from 2018-2021, ranking #58 in 2021, #57 in 2020, #91 in 2019 and #78 in 2018. She also made Barron’s list of Top 1,200 Advisors by state for Oklahoma from 2019-2022, ranking #6 in 2022 and 2021 and #5 in 2020 and 2019.

Personal Interests

Jana serves on the University of Tulsa Board of Trustees and is a member of the International Women’s Forum. She has also given her time to the Tulsa Community College Board of Regents, the Gilcrease Museum, Tulsa Parks and Recreation, Tulsa Library Trust, Girls Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, Hillcrest Medical Center, the Philbrook Museum of Art, Tulsa Regional Chamber and the Women Presidents Organization. She is a founding member of the International Center for Wealth Advisory Excellence. Jana enjoys running, cycling, snow skiing and yoga, and is a bull riding fan.

Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State are selected for the Forbes rankings by SHOOK Research. Rankings for 2020 through 2024 were published in April 2020, March 2021 and  February 2022 – 2024 based on prior years data as of September 30.

Best-In-State Wealth Advisors are selected for the Forbes rankings by SHOOK Research. Rankings for 2021 through 2023 were published in February 2021 and April of 2022 and 2023 based on prior years data as of June 30.

Top 100 Women Advisors: Barron’s rankings for 2018 through 2022 were published in June of each award year based on prior years data as of March 31. Top 1,200 Advisors: Advisors are ranked and organized on a state-by-state basis. Barron’s rankings for 2019-2022 were published in March of each award year based on the previous year’s September 30 data. No fee was paid for participation in the rankings; however, some advisors have paid a fee to receive expanded profile features on the ranking website.
